Helideck
Welcome onboard Bleo Holm. If this is the first time you have used this kind of immersive online tour, please scroll to the bottom of this text for instructions.

This Floating Production, Storage and Offloading vessel is situated around thirty miles off the North East coast of Scotland. In this panoramic image, you are standing above the aft end of the vessel on one of the walkways used to access the aft areas. As a new visitor dis-embarking from your helicopter, you would follow the walkways on the opposite side of the helideck, next to the telecomms masts.

The modular accommodation block below the helideck comprises a number of levels on which you would find cabins, control rooms, offices, the mess and the galley, recreation rooms, laundry, a shop, and of course the main control room from which the vessel and the subsea systems are operated.

On arrival, the Bleo Holm Safety Advisor would brief you on all aspects of emergency actions, health and safety expectations and ensure you are provided with all the correct personal protective clothing for your stay onboard. For those who will be working on the plant and systems, an induction into the Bleo Holm Permit to Work system would be required before you could begin any works.

You may notice some foam on the walkway beneath you. The Bleo Holm helideck fire teams have just completed a foam monitor test, all part of the emergency team maintaining a very high state of readiness to act efficiently in the instance of any helideck incident.

Now move to the next panorama, which will take you to a position below these steps from where you can continue this tour.
